Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Shrai Tangmarg Baramulla, the Baramulla Police seized four tippers & two tractors, besides arresting six drivers.
The Police initiated the action under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg assisted by SHO PS Tangmarg.
The police seized 4 Tippers, 2 Tractors & arrested 6 drivers namely Nisar Ahmad Malik son of Ab Hameed, Ab Hameed Kumar son of Gh Mohammad, Ab Hamid Kumar son of Gh Mohd all residents of Pariswani, Firdous Ahmad Magray son of Gh Rasool resident of Chandil Wanigam, Nisar Ahmad Rather son of Shabir Ahmad & Shabir Ahmad Rather son of Mohd Akbar both residents of Ganibaba Kunzer
The drivers alongwith their vehicles were found involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals and accordingly cases FIR under relevant sections of law were registered in Police Station Tangmarg against them and investigations taken up.
