Srinagar 23 February: Jammu Kashmir United Movement President and Fomer Member of Legislative Assembly from Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan, today.
The JKUM President held an exhaustive discussion with the Lieutenant Governor on several issues of various sections of the society.
The statement said that among various other issues of public importance, Jabbar discussed with the Lt Governor construction of Four lanning of Pandach-Manigam and Sumbal Wayil ring road, Central University of Kashmir, sanctioning of women’s degree college in Ganderbal besides other issues and demands.
The Lt Governor assured Jabbar that the genuine issues put forth by him would be looked into and urged him to continue his endeavours for promoting welfare of the people.
