Acting tough against the Drugs Peddlers; on the directions of SSP Ganderbal *Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS*, Ganderbal Police arrested One notorious Drug Peddler in the jurisdiction of PS Ganderbal & recovered Contraband Substance from his possession.
Police Station Ganderbal recieved information through reliable sources that one person namely Sharief Ahmad Baba S/O Mohammad Maqbool Baba R/O Gujarpati Shahpora has put some banned drugs like substances in his residential house. Acting Swiftly, Police Party led by SHO PS Ganderbal Inspector Manzoor Ahmad under the supervision of Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal conducted raid at the house of the accused and during the search, Contraband Substance Bungh Patri and Charas Powder like substances were recovered & seized in presence of Executive Magistrate First Class and the accused was arrested on the spot. In this regard, Case FIR No. *31/2024*, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Ganderbal & further investigation taken up. People found indulging in Drug Peddling shall be dealt with strictly as per law. Ganderbal Police requests Community members to share information regarding Drugs with J&K Police for better future of their youth.
