Mir Showkat/Budgam:Police arrested O3 gamblers in Budgam, Stake money and playing cards seized

Budgam Police today arrested three gamblers, seized stake money and playing cards from their possession in the jurisdiction of PP Soibugh.
On receiving a specific information regarding gambling activity near Nambal Land at Wahabpora, a police party from police post Soibugh headed by DO Soibugh conducted raid in the said gambling site and arrested three gamblers on the spot. The gamblers were identified as:
1 .*Mohd Asgar Bhat S/O GH Mohd Bhat R/O Dandoosa*
2 .*Showket Ahmad Bhat S/o Farooq Ahmed Bhat R/O Galwanpora*.
3.*Mehraj -ud- din Bhat S/O Abdul Ahad Bhat R/O Rakh- Hakurmulla*
Stake money of *RS 17500-/ and Playing cards* were seized from their possession.
Accordingly, Case *FIR No 58/2024* under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation of the case is underway.
