Mir Showkat/Srinagar: District President BJP Ganderbal welcomes ₹827.98 Crore Highway Project, Credits Deputy Commissioner’s Shyambir Visionary Leadership

District President BJP Mohammad Amin Shah expressed his profound gratitude to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for approving ₹827.98 crore for the construction and upgradation of the much-awaited 4-lane highway from Pandach to Manigam near Wayil Bridge.
This transformative 12.11 km project, forming part of the Srinagar Ring Road (Phase-IIA), is a landmark development for Ganderbal and promises to revolutionize infrastructure and connectivity in the region.
The project includes a major bridge, three minor bridges, three realignments, and 51 box culverts, along with a 2.55 km elevated structure through Ganderbal Town.
Shah emphasized its critical role in facilitating smoother movement for tourists and defense vehicles heading to Leh and Kargil, marking a significant leap for Ganderbal’s strategic and economic importance.
Shah extended special appreciation to Deputy Commissioner Mr. Shyambir for his relentless efforts and visionary leadership, calling him the driving force behind realizing this decades-long dream of Ganderbal’s residents.
“The Deputy Commissioner has gone above and beyond to ensure the voices of the district were heard at higher levels of governance.
His hands-on approach and commitment to resolving infrastructural bottlenecks have earned him immense respect and admiration,” Shah remarked.
The district president noted that Mr. Shyambir’s meticulous planning, effective coordination with government authorities, and tireless advocacy for Ganderbal’s development have played a pivotal role in bringing this monumental project to fruition.
“His leadership has turned aspirations into achievements, and this highway project will stand as a testament to his dedication, that includes decades long pending demand of district like Wayil Bridge and the Road” Shah added.
Shah also lauded the efforts of the BJP government and General Secretary Shri Ashok Koul for prioritizing and raising Ganderbal’s developmental issues.
The people of Ganderbal are optimistic about the transformative impact of this project and have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the BJP leaders and district officials involved.
